With an integrated approach that includes aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), Matt has helped people build healthy hearts and minds for over 13 years.

His practice is centered around providing a safe space – free of judgment – for reflection, honesty, and vulnerability. In both inpatient and outpatient treatment programs, he has witnessed people open up, discover their own self-worth and create change in all aspects of their lives and overcome their personal struggles. Matt desires to see each individual discover their own self-worth by learning to cultivate courage & authenticity in all aspects of life.

Matt works with people dealing with addiction and dependence, anxiety and depression, as well as eating disorders, body dysmorphia, and personality disorders. Additionally, he helps people with sexual identity/orientation and interpersonal relationship issues.

As a therapist, he cares deeply about providing a safe, non-judgmental space for reflection, honesty, and vulnerability. His aim is to help people overcome obstacles and self-imposed barriers they may face so that they can flourish in their personal lives. Matt utilizes a multi-faceted approach that includes various types of therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral, strength-based, person-first, solution-focused, and a direct reality-based psychodynamic style.
